Punch Press Setup / Operator

Safely and efficiently operates punch press equipment to make parts at-rate and accurately to print. Will learn and perform setup tasks to KMC standards under the direction of Setup Technicians. Will train and provide guidance to new Production Helpers and Punch Press Operators.

 

Design Engineer - Tool Quoting

Tool Quoting Engineer compiles accurate cost estimates for tool design, manufacturing or procurement in a timely manner using customer print and specifications as primary input and maintains all tool cost estimate related tools.

 

Quoting Associate

Quoting Associate compiles accurate quote information from outside sources to be used for the final part quote and related project work as directed by the Senior Quoting Engineer.

 

Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Under the direction of the Sr. Quality Engineer, the Quality Engineer will work with the MRB process and identify opportunities for improvement to improve manufacturing operations and support new product launches.

 

Slide Machine Operator

The Slide Machine Operator adjusts and operates a variety of slide machines including multislide, fourslide, and vertical forming machines to perform close tolerance work requiring a high degree of skill. Usually work is of a complicated nature having critical and exacting requirements as to tolerance and finish. Work with minimal supervision from drawings, specifications, and job instructions. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments including optical comparators. Work is subject to inspection. Responsible for part quality and efficiency.

 

Laser Setup Operator

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Laser Setup /Operator operates the laser to perform a variety of standardized work where procedures are prescribed to produce parts in conformance with specification.

 

Master Scheduler/ Planner

This key position is responsible for the coordination of fulfillment activities to support production at all three KMC facilities. This individual will be responsible for managing, training and mentoring the planning team; leveraging systems and processes to ensure materials and resources are available for production; and for providing inputs to the long term capacity planning of the business. This individual will aggressively seek opportunities for inventory, lead-time and cost reductions.

 

Press Department Lead

The Press Department Lead is responsible for assisting/replacing the Press Department Supervisor with coordinating the day-to-day press team members to focus on safe, quality minded, efficient operations of the punch press department. This is to include assigning work, meeting production due dates, interpreting and ensuring application of policies/procedures and teaching/training associates. This also includes assisting Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, Design, Quality, and other departments in facilitating the press department to ensure standardized work methods and best practices are being followed.

 

Tool & Die Maker

Plans, lays out, and performs all machine operations to sharpen, alter, and repair intricately designed and constructed tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, machine attachments, and mechanisms, requiring a high degree of skill and knowledge of tooling practice and application.

 

Manufacturing Supervisor 2nd Shift

Under the direction the Director of Manufacturing, the Manufacturing Supervisor ensures the production of company products at the highest quality at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards, and customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws to include training employees, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
